Xiamen Transportation

Xiamen has a convenient transportation. It is one of the five trade ports of China in history. Now, Xiamen has built the three-dimensional transportation network.
Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport locates in the northeast of Xiamen Island and has a distance of 12 kilometers from urban area of Xiamen. It is the second-class trunk airport. There are 17 countries and districts of Europe, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Macro and Taiwan to have been opened international and regional air routes to Xiamen. They are Seoul, Osaka, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Bangkok, Singapore and so on. There are 75 cities having direct air routes to Xiamen and 58 of them are domestic cities. There are direct air flights connecting Xiamen with Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Guilin, Guiyang, Haikou, Hangzhou, Haerbin, Kunming, Nanchang, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Guiyang, Shenzhen, Wenzhou, Wuhan, Wuyishan, Xi’an, Putuoshan and so on everyday.
Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center locates at the transportation hub in east of Xiamen. Coastal Road, Lianqian Road and Lvling Road intersect at the Conference and Exhibition Center Area. It keeps the distance of 10 kilometers from Gaoqi International Airport, 14 kilometers from Cargo Dock, and 7 kilometers from railway station and long-distance bus station. There are many bus routes to arrive Conference and Exhibition Center directly. In 2008, the Bus Rapid Transit has been opened. You can take the BRT to arrive at Conference and Exhibition Center directly and rapidly.
